Andover, Mass. — February 28, 2024: Minuteman Security Technologies, Inc. (“Minuteman”), a leading
national provider of enterprise security technology solutions, today announced that it has acquired systems integrator Strategic Security Solutions, LLC. (“S3”), of Raleigh, NC.

With the acquisition of S3, a well-established integrator with four locations in NC, VA and PA, Minuteman
becomes the largest Eastern US super regional independent full-service provider of integrated security,
communication, and life safety systems. Combined, the company operates 20 office & support locations from Florida to Maine, and as far west as Chicago, IL, and national/global reach through our Program Management Office (PMO).

S3 has been providing enterprise security technology solutions for over 20 years under the leadership of
Jay Slaughterbeck, CEO and Ron Oetjen, President. S3 employs over 50 team members across 4 facilities
in Raleigh, Lynchburg, Richmond, and Pittsburgh, as well as an established PMO offering managed
security solutions globally. Jay and Ron will continue to manage their S3 operations and customer
relationships while expanding their responsibilities across the combined entity with a focus on continuing
to provide current customers and supply partners exceptional service and support from their preeminent
team of technicians.

Minuteman CEO Joe Lynch, said, “We’re thrilled with the partnership in S3 and the opportunities it
provides the combined organization to deliver enhanced service to our customers and suppliers as well as
career growth opportunities for our valued employees. Our expanded super-regional footprint, team of
highly skilled technicians, product offering, and leadership in Jay and Ron are notable partnership benefits
that will deliver additional value to all of our stakeholders as we grow our presence in the industry.”

“S3 and Minuteman are natural partners – both organizations share a common strategic vision of becoming the preeminent electronic security integrator and core values in providing superior customer and supplier solutions, taking pride in our work, doing what we say we’re going to do, and respect and gratitude in ourteam of employees,” commented S3 CEO Jay Slaughterbeck. Ron Oetjen S3 President added, “The foundational consistencies and complementary characteristics across both organizations are truly unique and will enable us to deliver exceptional service levels for our customers, suppliers, and employees alike. I’m further excited in my and Jay’s expanded responsibilities in the joint organization having a direct role in bringing these benefits to fruition.”

Minuteman’s growth continues to receive recognition. SDM magazine, which tracks the North American
